Who and What I am ?
Transformation of my role from a production engineer in India’s leading group TATA to an educationist has been very challenging. It is the passion towards education, training, sharing knowledge and working with children that helped me to overcome this challenge and make it my strength. It is this urge to learn that helped me to focus on completing Cambridge certification in Teaching and Training.
I am a strong advocator of lifelong learning. This has helped me research and keep myself updated of the latest developments in the field of education since 15 years. I believe in the fact that, everyone has to let our children experience all aspects of life (within a reason of course) and you have to let them make mistakes not protect them from them and help them not to repeat the mistake, because when they get out in the world they need to know how it feels to "mess up" and know on their own how to correct it.
I have always been self driven and very enthusiastically engaged in my professional development, because of which I have been able to develop expertise in several domains of education; mentoring and monitoring, school improvement planning, assessment for and of learning, knowledge of varied curricula, Technology Aided Learning, quality assessment, school inspection/ reviews, and life skills training.
My clients have appreciated my ability to assess their needs and design and deliver training modules that ensured knowledge, understanding and transformation of skill. I am very particular that management of under performing schools adapt these skills for their whole school development.
